Or possibly quite a bold and clever move - reverse psychology?If the pilot was low on ammuniition or fuel, he wouldn't want to waste it strafing a truck that must be empty (or the driver wouldn't hide beneath it)?
How does the old adage go? "Try to look unimportant. The enemy may be low on ammo."
