My Biggest Disappointment
Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."
Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.
What's disappointed you lot?

One of the biggest reasons
that I'm not in England now.
Sunny and just a bit too hot outside right now.
Unfortunately, I'm sitting in a cube in the middle of a building. Crap.

But you're going out
And it's warm outside. You know you're weekend will be dry and that you'll see the sun.

Well
This time of year there's a good change a big storm will blow over and we'll get torrential rain.
That said, even that's preferable to the neverending miserable day-after-day overcast that was Britain for 3 years before I left. Rain or not.
And FWIW, warm is overrated. England has great temperature most of the year. If it's cold, wear a jacket, if it's really cold, put on a jumper too. Here it often gets just too hot to move and there's not really anywhere you can go from there.
But like I say, worth it for a regular dose of life-giving sunshine.
