If it helps......I've failed my test four times already. It's depressing, isn't it? If I recommend anything, it's not to do what I did, i.e., don't get so put out that you stop driving and forget about it for two years before you can face taking a test again. You'll get there in the end - let's face it, plenty of drivers pass who certainly don't deserve a licence, so if there's any justice to the system then they must give you one eventually*.
*There may not be any justice in the system...
