Ye Red DevilAs a kid, I tried launching my Action Man (in his Red Devils parachute display team kit, a compensation pressie for having me tonsils out at age 5) out sideways from the top of the slide at our local park.
Nope, even the dizzying height of about 9-10 feet didn't give the parachute enough time to deploy. Bugger.
I should have gone for the Corgi Merryweather fire tender that the boy in the next bed in hospital asked his parents for. That thing could squirt water!
(Well, I was easily pleased at age 5.)
At least the Action Man survived OK.
