My Biggest Disappointment
Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."
Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.
What's disappointed you lot?

I was rather crestfallen this morning
when I realised I didn't have my mp3 player with me.
Tube journeys are much slower without it.

Losing my mp3 player
meant I went for fewer of those meandering walks I once loved.
The sounds of motors roaring past just isn't the same as listening to the music I enjoy.

Leaving the house without your "tunes player"
Sucks.
Don't forget they act as a good way to drown out the inane din of moron passengers, and morons playing music from their phones.
At least we are considerate enough to keep our music enjoyment to ourselves instead of playing it through a tinny, crappy device not designed for the job.
If you're a Rocker/Goth type, it seems to act as an "invisibility cloak" as you can't hear people hassling you, so they have no audience.
On a long journey, I continously have a Rock/Metal soundtrack in my head.
Portable tunes, love it...
