I had the same problemonly I fast-forwarded through the crap at the end of the DVD. The result:
lots of crackling sounds and then, I think, "it's still alive..."
I *know* it's still bloody alive. I just watched the film. The beasty was indestructibubble so it *has* to be alive.
Then I sat through the film again because the DVD extras can only be accessed when you see a 'low battery' sign at the top of the screen. And the extras were rubbish.
I cried. Then I hurled 'cause the shakey-cam made me car-sick.
