We had the same...When a visiting engineer mentioned that lowering the temperature in our server room by 10 degrees might actually mean that
a) the servers would last until they were out of warranty
b) the UPSs would actually work if there was a power cut, of which there were many
7.5 KVa cooling later visiting the server room was no longer like going to the sauna and guessing which of the admin staff had changed the backup tape wasn't very hard.
