I suspect that it's a female thingas mine can't do any of the above either. This evening I finally gave in and cleaned up the kitchen after seeing what would happen if I left it alone for a while. The answer: every drawer left open, three days' worth of eggshells in a bowl on the counter, empty plastic shopping bags on the counter, a quarter of a dessicated orange sitting on the cutting board...
...and yet she's the one with the PhD.
