This is a question Driven to Madness

Captain Placid asks: What annoying things do significant others, workmates and other people in general do that drive you up the wall? Do you want to kill your other half over their obsessive fridge magnet collection? Driven to distraction over your manager's continued use of Comic Sans (The Font of Champions)? Tell us.

Wanker families living on terraced streets with limited parking, who have a car for dad,
a car for mum and who then go on to buy cars for their precious teenage oiks. Selfish cunts.

Would it be ok if the teenager bought their own car?

Marginally
At least they'd have the opportunity to think "Why the fuck have I just spent all summer working my butt off for this car, when I can't even park it closer than the corner shop that I need it to drive to?".
Or something.

This is why electric cars ain't going to work
There's all these lines of terraces (and other properties) with either street parking or allocated parking away from the house. And then, as you mention, there are those families that have multiple cars. If these folks all have electric cars, how exactly are they supposed to get them charged? Try stringing a cable out your window to you car outside your door let alone half way up the street and you'll have the council's health and safety Nazis on you in a flash. The only other alternative is to have charging points up and down each street, but nobody's going to cough up to wire every residential street in the country. The kicker is, they're still doing it. There are high end semis going up here that have no garages. Another great piece of forward planning!

If you like Communism so much why don't you fuck off to North Korea.

Especially when...
...they think it's a fundamental right of their residents' parking permit that they get to park exactly outside their own front door, regardless of where other cars are parks, how much space they leave for other cars, whether there are double yellow lines for a cul-de-sac's turning circle outside their house, etc.

Rather than just being entitled to park somewhere in a square mile zone with their house in it.

And when a penny-pinching Tory council sacks most of their traffic wardens while giving their chief exec a thumping great pay rise (for doing the same thing he did last year) that would pay for another six of clippies, so all you can do is grumble.
