The idea that Boris Johnson should be given responsibility for anything more than holding a child's balloon is, frankly, laughable...and I wouldn't expect to see the balloon again, either.
The fact that he's mayor of London, and is even seen as a possible future Prime Minister, should be enough of a clue to the politicians that the system has finally reached breaking point, and they should all go home and get proper jobs.
