Drunk Parents
Watching the old man swing home from the pub and start arguing with Newsnight can be either funny, slightly unnerving or just plain terrifying. Tell us about daft things parents have done while they've been in their cups.

My dad lives on a boat as well. He's not a drinker though so I'm sitting this QOTW out.
Your old man needs to get (perhaps as a gift from you) a cork ball keyring. The ball is about the size of a large plum and it has a small chain or string fixed to it to which you attach your keys. Drop it in and they float. It is an *essential* item for boat dwellers.

Yeah
He has one of the cork keyrings for the boat keys, but I think these keys were for the car, or the electric box or something. I can't remember exactly, it was years ago.
