But the 'reply' feature adds so much.Before it came along so many posts went Off-Topic, there was no communiction betweenusers, and it wasn't as much fun.

it allows flowing conversation re the posts - it allows some public feedback and can be fun!not everyone wants to go onto /talk, for whatever reason. Others don't want to use /main.
I've always enjoyed /QOTW, and we had a nice little community on here for a while. Thing is, it has gone downhill; there are a lot of crap posts, a lot of kids with nothing to say and no real writing skills, but all the negativity doesn't help.
