the whistlertheres an old guy that drinks in my local occasionally a pretty decent chap but when he's talking to you will suddenly stop talking mid sentence and whistle, not through his dentures and not a song just a random burst of whistling. i dont like how everyone takes the piss out of him, he must know, i feel sorry for him

I wonder if he stutters?I met a Canadian girl many years ago who would occassionally do a few words as if she was singing, because she didn't stutter if she sang?
Maybe this is his way of giving his voice a momentary break to avoid stuttering?
