My dad was a vicar, and was enjoying his retirementOne time a holyman in a nearby parish fell ill, and couldn't give the ecclesiastical speeches one Sunday. So in this time of dire straits my dad donned his vestments and ministered the neighbouring congregation.
It was (wait for it...) an emergency service!
