I am slowly turning into my mother...
though i don't think that's such a bad thing...

In my bag I will always have:
Two pens: one ballpoint, one fine-liner.
A pencil
Assorted plasters
Two saftey pins(mainly for jeans hems on wet days)
Ear-plugs(in case i stay out and go to a noisy gig, it's cuts out all the background noise and it's much more pleasant.)
Purse and phone
Tissues
A mini-padlock
A bottle of tap water- in case anyone's thirsty or needs to take painkillers
Painkillers - pref. paracetamol, people can have bad reactions to aspirin
Note book- for wirint mental notes or memos to friends
Day diary-my memory in a book
Mementos from random people: pack of parma violets never to be eaten and a new zealand dollar.
Carmex lip balm, always a good talking point with someone who's never tried it - it tingles don't you know!
Spare stick lip-balm in case my hands are mucky.
Pocket watch and chain.
A good book or something else to read in case I get bored.

and any items i actually need for where I'm going be it uni or work.

I find if i don't have them I'm lost and i always get asked for something because nine times out of ten I'll have what you need on me.

I like to be helpful :) even though no-one ever helps me... don't know why i bother sometimes. I suppose someone has to be...
