TVRI know a couple of chaps with TVRs and they both make my old Alfa Romeo 156 look like the absolutely paragon of reliability which it most definitely wasn't.
In fact, TVR must be the only car manufacturer who envies Alfa Romeo's reliability record.
Remember that when you buy an Aston the engine is developed from two Mondeo units spliced together and the electronics are manufactured in quantity to stringent quality controls by outside contractors - and they still get it wrong. TVR make everything in house and bespoke, from engines to door mechanisms and everything in between.
