France too
i spend many xmases with the family of mrs2shoes, and the pressie-giving bit and all that occurs on the evening of the 24th; as you say, this gives the 25th for lounging, late breakfast (fresh croissants on xmas morn, mmm), and a nice stroll under the always-blue Languedoc skies, usually involving a beach somewhere.. marvellous.
