This is a question Family Feuds

Pooster tells us that a relative was once sent to the shops to buy an onion, while the rest of the family went on a daytrip while he was gone. Meanwhile, whole sections of our extended kin still haven't got over a wedding brawl fifteen years ago – tell us about families at war.

Why would he want to eat dirt?

So far as the post thing is concerned, I thought it was illegal for anyone - even parents - to open post addressed to someone else (someone adult at least, not sure about minors) .. maybe I'm wrong.

Edit: Just found it... "Postal Services Act 2000 Section 84: Interfering with the mail: general
127. Section 84(1) provides for it to be an offence if persons intentionally delay or open postal packets without reasonable excuse. It amalgamates the content of offences previously included in the Post Office Act 1953."

and apparently "A person who commits an offence under subsection (1) or (3) shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both."

Couldnt find a law about chicken on the bone unfortunately.
