This is a question FIGHT!

Dr Preference wants to hear your stories about fighting. Ever started a fight? Ever seen a spectacular bar brawl? Or did you hide in a kebab shop when chased by West Ham football hoolies? The first rule of B3ta Fight Club is that you WILL talk about B3ta Fight Club.

Pretty much. But seriously, a psychiatrist will monitor meds, blood tests and all that stuff. I avoided it for years, and NoW i'M nOrMaZl agIaN.

Be careful, some psychiatrists are better than others
and some are a fucking disaster.

True. Shop around. Mine is good - not too much chat, more medically orientated. Trying meds is worth it, if only to establish whether they work for you, or not.

I also cut down massively on drinking, it's an eye opener how much it affects you. Grog, recreational drugs and ciggies are all forms of self medication, might as well go one step further and give the meds a go.

I found a good one
who is not med trigger-happy, which for me underlines his belief in his own abilities.
