When I was about ten years oldI had run out of things to talk about with my girl friend. I thought "Well, what is going on in her life that I could talk about?"
Then, I came up with a subject of conversation.
"Sooooo," I started, "how're you getting on with your period?"
I learnt a lot that day. Probably more than I needed to. I also learnt never to ask that question again.
