Point is - she didn't know you were shy, or to be brutally honest, socially inept.
To her you obviously looked good: good enough for her to risk making a prat of herself if you blanked her.
So she thought you were in her league. She just had the confidence to something about it.
Now you know stunningly beautiful girls find you worth checking out - you'll have the confidence to approach them first.
Don't be put off if they are shy or seem socially inept. They just need a little confidence.

Well, I'd still say she was out my league these days
but in those days I'd just went through something that stunted my confidence for a loooooong time. Over the worst now though, back in the game :P
