Putting the Fun in FuneralSome deaths come suddenly or too soon and can really hit hard, others seem to be a blessed relief. Similarly, some funerals can be deeply upsetting and sad, others can make you want to hug the world.

It wouldn't happen these daysMy Gran once told me a funny story about a funeral she went to a few years ago. The hole that had been dug for the coffin wasn't big enough and the coffin got stuck. The guys lowering the coffin in decided the best way to cope with this was to turn the coffin onto its side and lower it in that way - it was still a little bit stuck... so they stamped on it a few times. That did the trick apparently.
