I've always found this to be an interesting songSo a guy meets a gambler on a train, and takes some life advice from him. If you look at the lyrics, this stranger has the gall to give life advice to someone when:-
A/ He's a gambler.
B/ He can't afford cigarettes (Therefore he's not a successful gambler)
C/ He can't afford alcohol (see B/ above)
Most gamblers I've met are just one more bet from "the big one". They're the LAST people I'd take advice from.
