My hairline has been receding very slooooowly for years so I can deal with that.
But since this year if I let my stubble grow for more than 2 days it's more white than black.
That fucks me right off as I have to shave most days now otherwise I'm going to start looking like Gandalf before long.

I have always vaguely
regretted never growing a beard, as I will now never know what I look like with a full bushy black job. It's same as you, half grey now.

I'm fortunate to have had a few beard styles as I used to briefly experiment with a new style each winter.
Give it 5 years and my next style could be a Young Santa Claus.
