This is a question Getting Old

Drimble asks: When was it last brought home to you just how old you're getting? We last asked this in 2004, and you're eight years older now. Eight. Years.

For Bristol people
We went to the Corrie Tap yesterday. It was full of people who looked to be about 12, so we left and had a pint of mild in the Portcullis instead.

I'm from Bristol
I don't go down town no more.

Nice pint of cider in the local

Proper job

Even when I was a student I found Corrie Tap too studenty. And too crowded. And apple juice is for kids anyway.
These days if I am up for going into town (a rare occurrence) I head to the Hatchet.

It's a truly horrid place
But I was the only one in the group that wasn't suffering from some misplaced nostalgia. You should try the Gryphon.

good choice
horrible, horrible students wandering round in flip-flops, shorts and a rugby shirt with the collar turned up and shouting across Tesco in their posh voices. We hates 'em.
