This is a question Turning into your parents

Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?

Thanks to b3th for the suggestion

bizarrely enough...
I have watched this happen to my mum (although I suspect that was a midlife crisis thing), and then to my sister. I treated their new-found obsession with a modicum of disdain and general disinterest; being a teenager at the time, I had better things to do - or at least, my interests lay in green things of an entirely different kind...

Now a gainfully employed graduate, I'd been in my current flat (which has a shared garden) three weeks when I decided it would be a nice idea to buy some herbs...I now find myself in Homebase and garden centres at weekends entirely of my own volition, buying plants and seeds and all other sorts of weird shit, and what's more, enjoying it.

How did this happen?!
