Turning into your parents
Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?

When I was about 15
my parents seemed horribly right-wing, to the point of wilful stupidity or outright selfishness.
Nowdays I'm more and more starting to realise that they knew what they were talking about!
