lampshade dog
you just can't help it. it's not the dog's fault, but that doesn't change the fact that when you see a dog with one of those lampshade collars on, trying not to laugh is a fight you will lose.
much like me about an hour ago. the evil glare i got from the dog's owner was justified, but totally worth it. i didn't stop giggling for a good 5 minutes :)

The best thing about these
is to buy some spherical dog biscuits and see how many times you can spin a biscuit around a dog's head.

I've managed 3 times!

I had two dogs wearing these at the same time
It was both hilarious and painful! When I got back home they would both try and jump up, invariably catching my nuts or removing skin from my shins. The humour came at feeding time. They were both beagles and incredibly greedy. We had to line them up, put the bowls down and then quickly grab the lampshades and position them over the bowl to stop them both scooping up the bowl and flipping them over. The sight of two dogs with their heads and bowls obscured by plastic lampshades running around the kitchen without raising their heads and crashing into walls and table legs was hilarious and made the damaged scrotum and shredded legs worthwhile!!

Hmmmm
I see your point, but if a snake jumped up at me to greet me as I walked in the door, I'd probably poo my pants, whereas when dogs do it, it just makes me incredibly happy!!

it wasn't the snake that bothered people
it was the tarantula that liked to sit on my shoulder that freaked them out
