Dark vs LightAccording to the BMA, from worst to best for causing hangovers are:
bourbon, whiskey, brandy, rum, red wine, white wine, gin and vodka.
But in my experience, it's quantity rather than type that dictates how bad your hangovers going to be. The more alcohol, the worse the hangover.
