This is a question My most gullible moment

Someone once told me that gullible wasn't in the dictionary and I went, "yeah yeah ha ha" but when they were gone that didn't stop me checking. What was YOUR most gullible moment? Zero points for buying an icon on b3ta.

For many years
I laboured under the misapprehension that Ted Heath the bandleader and Ted Heath the politician were one and the same person, because I'd been told this was the case at a young age.

In fact, it was only a couple of years back that I found out the truth. From my mother.

Suckered for 30 years. Bah.

They're not?
Hardly suckered but I also thought they were the same man.

The latter
did conduct orchestras too though, so it's an easy mistake to make.

Co-incidence
Ted Heath was a good friend of my grandfather and a few years ago my Dad passed on an assortment of christmas cards and letters from Ted's time as a local politician right up to Prime Minister.

I was told that Dad had removed any letters of real meaning etc and the rest were essentially junk or meaningless, "see what you can do with them".

eBay beckoned and they sold quite well as a number of small collections of hand written items from a dead prime minister.
