I'm good friends with an undertaker's sonAnd he helps out a lot with the business of undertaking.
He's regaled us with many tales of how the dead are treated when put into the hands of these people- it used to strike me as odd, but I suppose, dealing with dead bodies all the time, they would eventually stop being people, and start being objects.
I may share some of his tales this week...
