I'm very lucky in that regard.I've known my flatmate for most of my life, and can tell him straight when he's being a cunt without any comeback (beyond being called a cunt myself, and rightly so).
I've just reached the stage where I don't want to live with anyone, no matter how good a mate.
I do need most of the above, though (except extra bedding for guests, I'll do what BGB suggested).
