Well I didn't hear it but...In the Bill Bryson book "Mother Tongue" he writes about one american politician who said during an argument abouth whether another language should be compulsory in lower education said "Well if English was good enough for Jesus, it's enough for me!"
And these people run the most powerful country in the world.....
