Dumbness in DurhamI met some amazingly dumb people at Durham university. This includes a whole social group who were unaware that the wax on a candle burned. They thought it was there to hold the wick up, then dribbled down the sides.
Durham cathedral is light up at night with big spotlights. One girl thought it lit up at night because it was made of glow-in-the-dark bricks.
