Over sharing
I had a girl come over to view a room once after she responded to an online ad. She told me she was moving out of a really nice place in a very exclusive part of London in which she was renting a room for just £450 a month. I expressed amazement that she would want to leave such a bargain. Then she told me that she was tired of the endless late night partying of her rich male flatmates with Russian prostitutes, before casually adding that one of them had come into her room while she was sleeping and tried to get into bed with her. Actually all three had done this at various times and she "felt it was time to move out".

I asked why she was telling me rather than the police, then showed her the door.

Reminds me of a friend of mine's younger sister
She lives in a fantastic self contained basement flat and pays tiny rent. The downside is that the house belongs to a middle-aged man who lives upstairs and keeps trying to make her go on dates with him. She keeps saying no and expects she will be asked to move out soon, as she has no contract.
