This subject has delurked me after 18 months of regular visits!When I was a kid, my bed had an old woman under it that would grab my legs if I stuck them out from under the covers. I had to leap out of bed to avoid her. Things didn't improve when I got a divan with no room under it for an old woman - she just got flatter I suppose! She's still there on some dark nights, even after 40 years.
