ABBA wrote a few good songs.Dancing Queen isn't one of them. Unfortunately it appears to be one of their most popular pieces. Personally, I believe this is cast-iron proof of the equation popular = shit and thus supports my reflexive snobbery concerning popular culture.
(For what it's worth, I reckon The Visitors is their best album, and it's one I will listen to and enjoy. It was also their last. Coincidence?)
