Irrational Hatred
People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

Heard someone who said En - Haitch - Ess the other day
I work for the NHS. So does this person. That's the first time I ever heard that one. I had to go out for a cigarette.
I always used to think that adding the H to aitch was just normal pretentious hypercorrection, and that it didn't matter because you never hear it in normal speech and phraseology where people are less self conscious (and the awesome innate language system in people's brains can just do its thing). But now, I think that haitch might actually creep into the vocabulary.
Just like pissing "til" instead of "till". Apparently "til" is acceptable now, because pretentious fuckwits thought that it was a contraction of "until" and hypercorrected, not realising that "till" was in the language long before we even started using "until".
Man, I love this qotw. I'm getting to vent all sorts of petty shit.
