I sympathise with Mr Whumpus...who is in the same sort stage of life as myself: most chuggers don't seem to understand reasoning such as "I've just graduated and am starting a job while the student loan company try to hunt me down, so I have no money to spare."
However, I have far greater contempt for the snobby women on Kensington High Street, who I think could easily make a donation without feeling any significant change in the mass of hubby's wallet. May many more birds crap upon their overpriced haircuts.
