So, when an employment agency lies to you to get you on the hook and you end up out of pocket from not getting the work they promised you (get it in writing)you CAN take them to court and fuck THEM in the arse

Job Agencies, eh
5 years ago I worked for a Job Agency, after having been subcontracted to them from my original employer.
I was told, on being taken on by said Agency that Statuatory Sick pay would on be paid in the event that a period of illness crossed 2 Wednesdays. I.e. if I was to go sick on Monday, I would only be eligable for Statuatory Sick Pay after 11 days off.
I became ill with Acute Pancreatitis. I was off work for about 3 weeks, and was told at each time I enquired that the required absence period had increased at each enquiry.
Stinking Rotten Bastards, they were...
