What actually happens to peoples email accounts when they die?
Do they get deleted at some point or does the subscription just carry on? Do relatives use them as a way of "getting in contact with them"?

A guy I know died last year and he still has a Facebook account. I know people still email him to "keep in contact"

After my son died
I kept his email name on my account. Couldn't bear to close it. It's still there, nearly five years later, and now and then I open it and get rid of the spam.

Penis enlargement, dodgy designer watches, medicines YOU need... ah, Dyl, I'd buy you them all if you'd only come back.
