They solved this problem in Australiaby getting rid of 1 cent and 2 cent coins. Now everything costs x dollars and 95 cents, which is slightly less annoying.

Nah, not quite.They still have .99c (.98c, .97c etc) prices, but at POS they just 'round up' (or down) to the nearest .5c.
It is full on, no holds barred, deadset retarded.
