Lies Your Parents Told YouI once overheard a neighbour use the phrase "nig nog". I asked my father what it meant. As quick as a flash he said, "It's a type of biscuit. A bit like a hobnob." Crapwhen returning from the toilets on a beach in Florida, my father expressed his delight with his efforts saying "that was a good c-rap (sea rap)". My mother quickly interviened to say that he meant there was a big wave that had just crashed on the beach.
