There wasn't anyone immediately obvious that it belonged to, it wasn't particularly busy
There was a guy ahead of me who went to one of four free machines, I picked another but it wasn't accepting coins so I went to the next one along. I didn't notice the change until I put my coin in and I didn't even notice the fiver until after I'd already picked up the mini-eggs and started walking away from the machine. I didn't run up behind someone after they'd just left and swipe their money or anything.

Besides, I ploughed it straight back into the local economy, by means of the till in the pub next door at lunchtime.
