Little Victories
I recently received a £2 voucher from a supermarket after complaining vociferously about the poor quality of their own-brand Rich Tea biscuits, which I spent on more tasty, tasty biscuits. Tell us about your trivial victories that have made life a tiny bit better.

Yeah
every month I'd have to phone them up.
It was pretty embarrassing to start with, I mean a friend had helped me out, and they were getting fucked over for it.
I told them on the phone that if I were to fuck up, I'd get penalised, so when they fuck up, so will they.
They didn't even argue.

i fair dig what you're saying about your pal, must've put some strain on the friendship.
i had a vaguely similar thing years ago with a loan i took out for a friend-in-need. repayments weren't much, about £40/month but he was in a bind at the end of a relationship and needed help to start over after he moved back from greece with bugger all. the emotional stuff had an effect on him and he was hitting the weed a bit which interfered with work...
result being that he was "late" with a few payments, really landed me in the sh1t at the bank, took years for the relationship to recover :(
