In a similar vein to Young Master Ploppy's saga, went to meet the parentsGirlfriend was Italian. Went out for a meal in Verona. Thought I'd impress with my sub-100 word Italian vocabulary and ask for the bill - "condo". Apparently what I said sounded more like "colo" so I in fact asked the waiter for his arse.
