This is a question Obscure Memorabilia

At home my other half has a broken piece of a piano. Just a single hammer from a broken piano. And yet this twisted bit of wood and metal is a piece from the piano that they flung in the TV series Northern Exposure. We've also got some gardening tools from the first series of Big Brother.

What wierd stuff do you own that has a history?

1/2 of a guitar
smashed by pete townshend. It's a Gibson SG, a '68, as far as I can tell. Smashed at the Isle of Wight festival about '70 or '71. Guitar pick from Eric Clapton from the Slowhand tour. A prototype of some fender guitar that never made it into production, which is a drag, because it sounds great! Too bad for Fender, hooray for me! Got it for $50. Rick Neilsen guitar pick from some indeterminate Cheap Trick tour. I used to go see Cheap Trick at bars on Rush street when I was 16...circa their first and second albums. We'd give them jars of hair, and our un-dying love. Rick would spit at us, the spack. His aim was poor and he liked gifts. Simple. Yet sublime.

A signed, first edition of Bambi.
