This is a question Mums

Mrs Liveinabin tells us: My mum told me to eat my vegetables, or I wouldn't get any pudding. I'm 32 and told her I could do what I like. I ate my vegetables. Tell us about mums.

I don't hit my daughter
When she was a toddler, a tap on the hand was sometimes administered when she reached for things she should not have, but I say tap and mean it, but since she was able to understand 'no' that is all that has ever been required. She's 14 now, and she lives in fear of doing wrong and being made to sit down and explain what she did and why- much more effective.

A slap on the arse for shock tactics is one thing, but whacking with a stick so much that years later you flinch is another. No need to wallop the life out of kids, none at all.

Have this therapeutic click and perhaps, as was said above, have a chat with one. Takes a stronger person to go to therapy than to shy away from it.
