My Collection
Do you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

Bootlegs and Bacardi Caps
Bootlegs of live metal shows... it's a pity most of them are awful quality, and that if you download a whole tour, you end up with about 12+ copies of each track they did on the tour. I wouldn't say I'm a paticularly avid collector, more like it's something that I'm slowing starting and hopefully will have a lot of them eventually.
Despite downloading as much music as I wanted for the last couple of years, I've now started to buy CDs, starting a nice little CD collection, don't ask me where this conscience came from, all I know is that my bank balance would like it to go back so that I can return to being the music thieving souless bastard I once was.
When I was a wee kiddie, I decided to start collecting Bacardi bottle caps (they were colourful, and had bats on them man - freakin bats!!) so my childish mind developed a meandering attraction to them.
And I also have the obligatory (for geeks) Magic The Gathering collections, warhammer models and large collection of sci-fi/fantasy books occuring.
