My Collection
Do you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

Orbit Spearmint
I have a pin-badge collection that's about as old as I am, a mountain of old computer games magazines (anyone remember Mean Machines Sega?) and every Viz from the past 11 years or so.
But at the moment I am hoarding packs of Orbit Spearmint. The 7 packs where the gum is in thin strips, not the rubbish new Orbit Complete things with 14 squat little lumps in a pathetic box that gets crushed out of shape in the most forgiving of pockets. I'm convinced that not only has the amount of gum gone down but the manufacturing process for the gum itself has changed. I think I've got enough of the old kind to keep me going for another month or two but I'm running out fast.
Which is a shame as I'm quite liking the look of bemusement on shopkeepers' faces as I'm buying a quick pint of milk or a few tins and suddenly add the remaining 30 packets of Orbit Spearmint they have to my list of purchases.
Can anyone help me?
